Hdmi keeps freezing

I bought mutiple x9s. All having the same issues. The hdmi app keeps freezing. Audio will still play or break up sometimes but video freezes. Have to restart unit to get it to work. Whats going on

 

You mean it's freezing when it gets the signal from an external source?
Did you exchange a HDMI cable to another one? I'm not sure what's the stream width from the source - bandwidth - but it may be the cable with insufficient Gbps.
In my case - I've tested it for a couple of minutes on my X10 which technicaly is same thing in scope of chipset/software - and it worked OK.

 

Happens everyday. Sometime after ours of use

 

using the supplied ,cheap hdmi cable?
4k sources,youll need to upgrade those to proper 4k rated hdmi cables

also done the 2.0.5 software update?

 

No. I was waiting for an ota update. Sources are 1080p.

 

id say grab the 2.0.5 update then

its very stable,might be just what you need
