Hello as no one replied to you I logged into amazon prime to check it out and it works I am not sure how you can check the definition I setted it to "optimum definition" and it looks like 720p with "the gran tour" a car serie. tried a couple of movies and I think it is 720p if you want to explain me how to check better I can do that for you...
my ps4 has amazon in 1080p hd so i loaded up ps4 and zidoo amazon prime video, played and paused both devices on same frame and they look pretty much identical. probably zidoo amazon prime video is 1080p but could be 720p. hard to tell
