When I try playing an IPTV addon like ULTRA IPTV for kodi it will launch in the external player and say "cannot play video". If I turn off the setting to use the external player it will play correctly with the internal kodi player. Is there anything I can do to make it not launch the external player for these types of streams? P.S if the external player made by Zidoo could be made to handle these kodi streams I think it could be a lot better then kodi's internal player on our hardware.
Actually I do have a similar issue - using DVBviewer as LiveTV client. Selecting a channel will open the external player which can't play the stream for whatever reason. However, when I am starting LiveTV by using the recent channel icon then the internal player will be used and is working fawless. While watching LiveTV you can switch between the cannels as long as you don't use the EPG guide for switching channels.
