New firmware v1.4.16 version for ZIDOO X10 release

BD menu support :
I check the support of the BD menu with 3 movies UHD HDR and it works, I will check with several movies to be sure.

HDR switch :
it works, it's great, my TV HDR is the first generation and the HDR image is not as beautiful as the news TV 2017, and with this option I wonder if I will not choose the mode HDR OFF.

why do not you read the old divx?
the player is perfect but with this he does not like it

I report my upgrade experience maybe to help someone:
after verify and copying, then press update X10 it restarts two times without any source video to tv (no Android-robot on screen, no signal). You can see just "Hello" on the box. After two restarts upgrade it's done.
Bluray menù seems function. Good good job. I hoped to fix auto-switch resolution, but it doesn't still function. If you set auto and play a 4k movies resolution remains 1080p.
I'm waiting for the new ZenUI (like others)
EDIT: i noted little bug: when you are playing an UHD BD from BD menù, HDR led (on X10) doesn't turn on, otherwise if you bypass BD MENU' hdr led lights up correctly

 

Intalled no issues but watched a movie last night using Hometheater app and at the very end of movie it played another movie stored on my drive for about 2-4 seconds before returning to the original movie poster screen .

Any one else experienced this ?

 

may i please ask why this can not be done by the online update

Auto switch resolution please ...the shortcut button is not convenient.

 

this is a know problem between android players, probably the shortcut switch its there because they can't fix it, also, how hard is it to press 1 button to switch resotution ?

 

Sometimes updates are betas as such

And if it was released OTA could cause major problem as its not 100 percent tested fully .
And that would cause a huge headache for Zidoo and there owners .

Sometimes best to release to testers not in the puplic domain straight off .

no problem during several playback. A cosmetic bug i noted on the Multimedial Centre, there is some problem (maybe resolution): on the right of the screen I can see bright menú (edit, cut, ecc) that should be hide

 

Not experenced that issue pic was spot on what i saw .....
Will test again later to see if my issue arrises again .

 

Yes I agree, press 1 button is convenient, but press 1 button for 5-6 times to select best current resolution is not convenient.

I understand the some limitations but for now if possible to press 1 button to get best current resolution it will be good.

With previews firmware the auto color mode result in a black screen when x10 connected to my marantz avr. It is solved with this firmmare.
