Hi, everyone! Sorry for my poor English.

I am new user of x9s, I can find DLNA DMR in setting however it doesn't seem to work.

I really want to use this function.

Thx! bob, however I am not using the x9s as a DLNA server (miniDLNA), I want it as a DLNA renderer/receiver to play my audio files in NAS.
My previous media player box with DLNA DMR function can play the NAS audio files and output to my int. amp via SPDIF.

Why not play music files through the file manager?
    It supports smb and NFS.
    thanks

bob, could you ask to your colleagues if (as already asked long time ago) is possible to add DLNA/UPnP support in Zidoo File Manager?
AFAIK, is not so hard, some library to add (should be avaliable also Open Source ones) and some code.
Many Open Source File Manager have this function...
This will make Zidoo File Manager one of the most complete around.

Thanks in advance, also for a "No"... but an answer is a polite way to show client support.

"Why not play music files through the file manager?"

Because I don't want to enjoy music with the use of TV and AV receiver:(

If x9s DLNA DMR works, I can use my android phone to select the album in NAS (synology DS audio), x9s as a player and pass signal to my integrated amp (with dac) via toslink.

I will give feedback to the engineer.
In the next version to add this feature.
    thanks

Installing BubbleUPNP might/should solve your issue? (Runs as an Android app, provides its own Renderer.)

I'm fairly sure of it - but I refuse to think through other peoples setups, when their "solution" contains more than three chained devices.. ;)

THX! I tried some apps likes BubbleUPNP or KODI before, they could function as DMR. But the SPDIF output is not "RAW". The x9s will decode and force the output as stereo LPCM to 16bits 48KHz. I want to play my WAV/ FLAC in original sample rate 44.1KHz. The Music Player of x9s can output the raw signal via SPDIF even the Hi-Res File in 96KHz.

    THX! bob
Hoping for good news from you.

In fact, before I bought this media player, I read some reviews and found it has the DLNA DMR setting (Pic in #2) .
I supposed the media player has this function.

    Hello,
I tried to test the dlna dmr with zidoo but (firmware 2.1.25) it did not work for streaming audio to zidoo from my PC.
All seems ok but no sound go to my homecine amplifier.
I found a solution using zdmc but it is not the best for me.
We can see on the link below MusicBee (my player) output, I find in it the two dlna dmr ( kodi(in fact is zdbc) and zidoo).
I tested to connect with my android phone with HifiCast app but the same problem occured.

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=1oEicyN6wsDtaVyOh5VS9aNIpddDaeuKd

I did not forget to switch dnla dmr on.
Did anyone try this function with firmware 2.1.25?
Who can use this function and with which firmware?

    Thanks for your help
