I've upgraded today to v 1.4.12 (from v 1.4.8) Big disappointment ! So far I have the following issues: 1. Turning the box on after a CEC turn off - display setting forgotten! ...need to change back manually every time. Also the connected storage to USB3.0 is forgotten. When logging into ZDMC (or kodi) getting error message "waiting for storage..." This bug started in v1.4.6 and never fixed since. 2. Black screen delay when start playing a video is much longer now compare to v1.4.8 3. Aspect ratio: when playing 2.35:1 movies it stretches the picture and fills the whole screen (16:9). It used to be automatic. Is there a setting to fix this? Over all, I'm not happy with this firmware. Might need to flush back...very disappointing and a big waste of time
Looks like the aspect ratio problem happens only with Zidoo player (External player)...both within kodi/ZDMC and Media center. 2.35:1 movies play with correct aspect ratio when using DVDplayer. Does anyone knows if there's a setting that can fix that?
I did , thank you. However, the black screen pauses at the beginning of playing a video and at the end are much worse now.
