Hi, as this device has now been in the wild for a few weeks now I wondered if anyone has experimented with the Picture-In-Picture mode?

Specifically: does it have to be a combination of HDMI in and Android or can it display two Android Apps?

I also wondered about the HDMI in; does this include 4K input & can 4K (both HDMI in and App) be used for Picture-in-Picture?

I'd be grateful if anyone could let me know if they've had success with this feature.

    Thanks, eerke

    Hi friend,
For your meaning, do you want to know whether X10 support the PIP(Picture in Picture) feature or not, correct?
    Thanks.

Hi, thanks for replying. The question is a little more specific. I understand the X10 can use PiP, but wanted to know the specifics.

    1) I wondered *which inputs* can be used for picture in picture?

    For example: can

    Big picture: Android app
    Little picture: another android app?

    2) Also *what resolution* input can be used for both?

    For example:
Can the HDMI input be 4K?
Can the android app be 4K?

    Many thanks!

    Hi,

The X10 hdmi in supports the 4k input source.

Thanks, that answer part of my question.

    1) Can the android app also be 4k?

    2) can both pictures be android apps?

    Thanks

PIP is only used to combine the picture produced/made visible by Zidoo + HDMI-IN. Both can be be swapped but that's it.
HDMI -IN accepts 4K but records in 1080P also sound is stereo only.

    Thanks!

So is the big picture always the HDMI in & the little picture the app?

The size of the "pip" image can be enlarged. With a mouse, the wheel allows precise resizing.
