    Hello

I'm just one click away from ordering the X9S. I have a Yamaha RX-V781 AVR with all of its HDMI inputs already occupied (Cable box, PS4, Nvidia Shield and gaming desktop PC). I’m planning on hooking up the Zidoo X9S instead of my cable box, then hook up the cable box into the X9S’s HDMI input.

Is this config OK? Can the X9S pass the HDMI input signal “as is” in a “through” unprocessed mode (full screen, no scaling) with the original audio signal (including Dolby/DTS multichannel formats)?

My cable box has HDMI 1.4b output and uses HDCP. Will the X9S be able to record the HDMI signals with multichannel audio? (if not, will adding an external HDMI splitter that strips HDCP do the trick?)

    Thanks

    Eli

    It doesn't work.
PCM only for HDMI iN to output

    Thanks

In that case I'll consider the X8 instead...
