Hello, I have an issue with one of my three zidoo X9S (one in each TV room). The issue is that it wakw up alone, sometimes by day, sometimes in the middle of the night, without any human intervention... Is happend even when it is completely shutdown, not only asleep. Is there a way to fix this ?
Hello, Thanks for answering. The CEC was already unchecked, but as you told I switched it on to uncheck all boxes and then turned it off again. I'll see if X9S still wake up alone today ! @+
no power cut, and it waked up several times, each time I put it asleep and a few hours later, wake up ! I tried uncheck CEC boxes and for now it didn't wake up again, I'll make an update at the end of the day !
You are right, look like power fail. Try to change power supply with one of your other X9S, maybe power supply issue.
I have the same problem, it's my USB2.0 hard drive that makes me restart the X9S, if I remove it from the USB port the X9S goes off and does not turn on. I do not know why ?
Hello, I've made a return to amazon and received a new one... who don't wake up himself ! So I think the old one had a materiel issue, don't know witch but now issue solved ! Thanks
Hi, mine is waking up in the middle of the night from power off also. Going to disable the screensaver i have a feeling could be that.
thanks for the above, i have changed the power option to ask me to power off instead of one click then off. I'm sure it's started happening after i did that. clutching at straws to be honest.
ok the above worked first time the next day not woke up during the night, so the one click power of is not working goes into stanby instead, which is no good my router sends wifi packets out which is why is waking up.
