Hello I bought a mini keyboard usb and it works very well. Unfortunately when i plug-in my external hd SATA, mini keyboard will start to go wrong. The touch mouse starts to go slowly, and the buttons do not respond immediately. Practically unusable. How is this possible? thanks ;-)
solution : It seems impossible but it's a wireless signal interference, in fact if i take an extension cable and move the USB receiver away from the box, the minikeyboard returns to work well. But, for you, is this possible?
Yes! WiFi, Bluetooth and wireless mouse/keyboard dongle use more or less the same RF band, i.e. 2.4 GHz. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2.4_GHz_radio_use They may interfere each other. Bluetooth and WiFi shouldn't... So your discovery is real!
Well known issue with USB 3.0... it generates a lot of RM interference. In that sense the X9S is very poorly designed - they located the USB 2.0 ports right next to the USB 3.0. Basic mistake!!! You can do 2 things: 1. Shield the USB 3.0 cable as much as you can and run it as far as you can from the USB 2.0. 2. Use extension cable (run it away from the X9S) and connect to it the receiver dongle of your air mouse. It should work properly like that.
