If you have adb command (on you MAC) you can run manual like this $ adb connect 192.168.1.2 (then press enter) $ adb root (then press enter) ..... ..... (every command that you need is in root.zip(root.sh) or you can extract from ROOT_via_LAN_5.1.1.bat (line start with adb)) #Kurt
Tasker has some commands like shell scripts that requires root. when you tell it to use root it says your device isn't rooted
Tasker. which is what I need it for. if you create a task and try to run a shell script then press use root a message appears that it appears ypur device is not rooted
thanks ZeroCool... I will look at the homebrew install later today and then see if I can figure this all out. Kurt

Just @j0534ng31 what he said is true. I following the Lony's "ROOT_via_LAN_5.1.1 for 1.2.7" and It works for one second, freezes for ten or more seconds, and so on... So many app start lag and freeze finally. At last, I flash the 1.2.7 firmware again. see the root method from zidoo tech.
