Spend Hours and Days to integrate Zidoo as a Media player into my Home Cinena, tried thousands of settings-combinations on TV, AV-Receiver and Zidoo without success. Zdidoo is no HiFi device - why?

    Missing Features:
    - Automatic startup when connected to power plug (this causes problems when using a switched power plug). This should be configurable.
    - No discrete Harmony codes for power on and power off.
    - Too less Harmony codes (e.g. for Fast Forward, Skip,....).
    - No automatic switch between 1080p and 2160 with external player.
    - No automatic switch between 8Bit and 10Bit with external player.

    Bugs:
    - During boot there is a short time where the refresh rate is set to 60Hz (dispite the setting). This causes a problem with sthe KS8090.
    - Black screens with Source 2160p/4:2:0/23.976/10Bit and output 2160p/4:4:4/23.976/10Bit in player and in other OS screens (work with 24Hz).
    - Massive stutter on playback of 23.967/1080p/Dolby movie and ouput 1080p/4:4:4/23.976/8Bit every few minutes.
    - If Zidoo is running (automatically booted when connected to power plug). And the X4200 is switched on ARC (between TV and A/V Receiver) is not longer working.

(Using Denon X420o and Samsung KS8090. Tested with different cables and zidoo directly connected once to the TV and once to the A/V Receiver.)

Judging by money you invest in home theater you should have a real HTPC. You ask a less then 200 buck to full fill a professionnal system.

I solved this issue by using an HDMI adapter (LINDY 41232 - HDMI NON-CEC Adapter) that cuts the CEC pin.
