I tried now HT 4.0.90 and the new NFO feature so it reads all my scraped Kodi data from Ember Media Manager. For movies it worked perfectly fine. But series are a horrible mess again, because: Works (just one season, no subfolders - like movies): \Series-Title\Series-Episode.mkv \Series-Title\Series-Episode.nfo \Series-Title\Series-Episode-thumb.jpg \Series-Title\tvshow.nfo \Series-Title\fanart.jpg \Series-Title\season-all-fanart.jpg \Series-Title\season-all-poster.jpg Does not work (several seasons, with subfolders): \Series-Title\Season 01\Series-Episode.mkv \Series-Title\Season 01\Series-Episode.nfo \Series-Title\Season 01\Series-Episode-thumb.jpg \Series-Title\tvshow.nfo \Series-Title\fanart.jpg \Series-Title\season01-fanart.jpg \Series-Title\season01-poster.jpg \Series-Title\season-all-fanart.jpg \Series-Title\season-all-poster.jpg Episodes are wildly mixed (some show up in movies and were detected as random movies).
That’s very weird as this is exactly the way Jellyfin/Emby does it and Zidoo implemented it on HT 4.0.86. I’m abroad so I can’t test any further can you post the contents of your NFO’s?
Sure, see below. The only difference I notice is, that the episode nfos are in the season subfolders and this may be the issue. Like in the movie source, I selected priority of nfo for the series and did nothing else. Maybe I missed something. But it's exactly the same issue I had when I tried HT 3.0 1+ year ago. Movies were fine, all local covers were found and the exact amount of movies were added to the movie section, but series was a mess and located everywhere. Most series dont even get a cover, there is just a folder that is called "Season 11" or something and some episodes are in there, and for example one episode of this season is found under movies with a random movie cover.
Mine are in the season folder as well. There are some differences in the TVshow.nfo: mine: <tvdbid>75930</tvdbid> <imdb_id>tt0285333</imdb_id> Yours: <id type="tvdb">80379</id> <uniqueid type="imdb" default="false">tt0898266</uniqueid> <uniqueid type="tvdb" default="true">80379</uniqueid> <uniqueid type="tmdb" So maybe that is the reason. I also see that there is no Season.nfo in your example. Is it missing? this is my Big Bang theory nfo, please test it and see whether this changes anything. I'll give it a shot later tonight. No, I don't have a Season.nfo. Where does this come from? Ember Media Manger doesn't create one. And I did a research on TMM TinyMediaManager, this program also doesn't create such an nfo acording to its website. Regarding the ids, my movies have the same format here, for example: <id type="imdb">tt0108399</id> <uniqueid type="imdb" default="true">tt0108399</uniqueid> <uniqueid type="tmdb" default="false">319</uniqueid>
did you power off your box with the button at the back after you updated it? That usually solves problems. edit: nevermind didn't realize it was an old post
