As a quick alternative you could use the mobile app but it's not the same.

    Hi Mcbluna ...
I downloaded the "zidoo controller" app from the play store but it doesn't work.
Doing "scanning device" does not find it.
Not even by entering the player's IP.
The reader is currently in standby, with the red light on, connected to the network but I cannot turn it on with the app.
What do you advise me to do?
    Thank you

    Joe

Ok. . I managed to turn it on.
Now I try to control it with the app.
Am I obliged to buy a new zidoo V8 remote control or are there other types?
    Thank you

    Joe

If it is still under guarantee then contact the supplier. Some are using TV based universal remote controls like Samsung which will give you very basic functionality. They can tell you about that. Harmony remotes work very well but Logitech are pulling out of the market so the remotes are scarce and expensive.

I know that this is probably not your issue exactly but I have found with the Z1000 Pro's remote that leaving the backlight setting on, it drains the batteries. This is even though it gives you the impression it's off after a few seconds. Someone told me this on the forum a while back. So if you need the backlights on your remote, remember to toggle "off" when not needed. I'm guessing the UHD3000 has the same if not a similar remote

    Hope this helps

you can tell how you managed to attach it, because I still can't.

When you mean how to pair V8 remote, " press Menu and Page -" together, untill blue led flashes.

    Hello everybody.
I turned it on by pressing the power button behind the flap (I didn't remember there was the button behind it).
Once turned on, with the zidoo remote control app, I can do almost everything.
Speaking of the remote control, I managed to open it and found that the infrared emitter led had detached from the board.

I would like to ask you how I should set up the player to turn it on via the network with the zidoo remote control app .... if possible.
With the Lg TV that I have signed I can do it.
    Thank you

    Joe

I think this can happen with multiple audio tracks depending which is default - not entirely sure of the circumstances but try remux to one track and see if that works.

I tried a couple of DTS UHD DTS:X demo blurays. DTS:X played OK - as Mark says need to look at your source.

Is it possible to have an object oriented audio track show less than 8 channels? I have dozens of Atmos/DTS:x films and I don't remember ever seeing this.

The first screenshot in the original post shows Audio Track 1/2

And that MediaInfo file isn’t DTS-X.

XLL is just an extension - the X has nothing to do with DTS-X which is object not channel oriented.

The first screenshot shows DTS 5.1 in the info window, but Stereo in the upper right corner.
On the second screenshot it says DTS HD in the upper right corner

Yeah, I think that's down to the multiple track thing I was talking about but no idea why it says stereo - that implies either a setting on the TV or PCM.

Yes it is, but you generally only see that in Dolby Atmos E-AC3 with Joint Object Coding.
