Hi everyone, my x9s turns on but the screen stays black. I would like to buy z9, what are the differences between the two? Do you recommend it to me?
If you want to update the X9S I think you would be better looking at the newer Z9X instead of the Z9S.
Yes, by a long way. The X9S is using the very much outdated Realtek RTD1295 from 2015/16 and the Z9X uses the latest RTD1619 - this is much faster, has much greater flexibility for HDR and includes the Dolby Vision VS10 engine which is not just for those with Dolby Vision displays. The X9S was a great player in its day, but the new players have greatly moved on.
