As for MKVToolNix, does it handle Dolby Vision, when I will combine two .mkv prepared earlier by MakeMKV?

Have you used MKVToolNix for Dolby Vision movies and successfuly played them on Z9X with Dolby Vision?

Using MakeMKV the DV is now part of the main video track, MKVToolNix doesn't have to "handle" it at all. It only remuxes the tracks so there should be no changes to the video.

I've combined The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and Lawrence of Arabia so far and they're working great with my Z9X.

 

I have not seen any content with an Auro 3D audio format, it's now mostly used as an upmixer in receivers.

Or if you have one, what movie is it? I'm curious to experience it.

It’s taken down by Zidoo due to reported issues. If you want, some members has hosted them, you can find the links here.

But I would just wait, there’s cool stuff like movie title logos when starting up playback but it’ll be worth the wait.

 

I'm hoping that the "revised" firmware will numericably be > 6.3.0 i.e. 6.3.1 for example, so that those member who have already upgraded will have no difficulty upgrading the the revised one.

In a week @mirror says we will have a new fw.

I wish @mirror will add some must have features to HT4.0:
1. Possibility to play movie by clicking on Poster, instead going to Info Page - Please add this feature like in Kodi, there is no need to go to Info Page everytime I would like to watch a movie.
2. [Classic Mode] Title of the movie on Info Page are going under IMDB points and logo. Title is not showing very well and it's cutoff.
3. Rearrange Posters positions like in Collections or just add simply reading of <sorttitle> from .nfo and Sort in Classic Mode by <sorttitle> not <title>.

Saying that I'm running 6.3.0 and having zero issues

 

I think they'll return to work on May 6. Then, depending the issues to fix, it can be a day, or it can be a week to put together a new firmware.

It would be great, if they will fix Green Flash Screen, when changing to previous/next chapter in .mkv files with Dolby Vision, HDR10 hasn't got such problem. In 6.2.5 changing chapters works without problems.
