On the other hand, the titles of movies which begin with numbers, in my case the movie ''1917'' for example is still not recognized...

Exactly - how is it now?
I would like G version or no G version ...
I guess there should also be offline files

 

Maybe it keeps what you already have and goes over the top as such so retains what you had originally .
So id have the non G version .

 

I say that it should simplify and propose only one version and in OTA it is perfect

 

Scrape source (TV)

 

These will come for sure. The automatic update will install the version according what you are using now.
The OTA download update worked fast for me and uses MD5 for file validation implicitly

 

Hey they seem to have read my comments on the Black GUI in detail as it is all there now:
- The Weather APP is available as an option in Quick Setup
- Moving cursor down the quick launch bar was added to configure avourite APP's.
- Pressing on Menu within the APP's menu also here the App version is now displayed.
This for Z1000 Pro and UHD3000 high-end models only.

A happy Monkey now? For sure I am now starting to appreciate the Black Gui but it got some flaws still!
1) I can't get access to the Weather APP other than via Quick Setup or using the cursor mouse on the main page. It is not included in APP's neither.
2) The Weather Widget shows the current day temperature range but not the far more relevant actual temperature. This is valid for both GUI's. This was changed some FW's ago erroneously.

 

Still not implemented DV BD-MENU support.

It is not in the update list just MP4 support for DV. Must be more complex to be added. For sure it will come sooner or later.

Once more a bugfixing FW update which is most welcome. Keep those coming please.

 

I have a Zidoo Z10 Pro and updated to this beta version today. After testing a few UHD MKV movie rips, I am happy to report that everything is working perfectly now with my Dolby Vision enabled Hisense 4K 65R8 TV.
