Will the x9 be getting an update for Android 5.1?

I have recently purchased an x9 and was wondering if there is going to be an upgrade to Android 5.1.

I bought this for its recording function.

They have a new zidoo x9 coming out though , it will run 6.0.

Cmon Zidoo , update to 5.0, but give us a downgrade option...its not as if you will cannibalize your new x9 customer segment. People will still buy it for 6.0.

 

Zidoo need to look after your existing customers kodi 17 wont run on anything below 5. Had i known this would have purchased a different box. Dont forget us .

If you have the lastest firmware you should be able to download Kodi through the google app store, and it does work, although it is not optimized for the Zidoo boxes, so some functionality may not be available

 

I've read Kodi 17 will not support <5.0
