Zidoo , can you please please comment on whether your going to give us Android 5 on the X9.

Do you not want Android 5? , you will find increasingly, that apps will not run on Kit Kat. Specifically , im after proper usb audio support.

The box is a 2015 manufacture/release afterall.

I know of the new versions of android but never found a reason to upgrade

Well technically commentary is possible on the Kit Kat but its a bit of a laborious process, and the audio is not great

I bought the Z9 to run Kodi (exclusively). I've read on the Kodi site that Krypton (v17) will not run on anything less than Android 5.

I don't see Zidoo responding to this thread, so it appears they give a sh*t.

Time to move on probably and look for signs that these Chinese companies will support at least their most recent flagships for Android...

ps I did try to install the Beta but got a parsing error.
