Will wait for a root to drop so you can use the XMBC/Kodi Wrapper app + latest Kodi since ZDMC isn‘t supported anymore.

I installed the newest Kodi directly on my Z1000 Pro with the official apk from Kodi. Installation was no problem, but Kodi was not able to play even a normal 1080p mkv with DTS. No sound and after a few seconds the picture freezes and stand still. I hope this could be fixed with a later firmware (i have the 22 without G), because i want to use Kodi with wrapper.

Νο passthrough for kodi and Realtek soc
    You need zdmc (kodi fork).
But I don’t know if current ZDMC is compatible with the new Realtek SoC 1619 yet.

No, ZDMC (18.4) is not working, it's crashing at the start, does not work with the new players. Kodi alone is useless on the Zidoo becaus the videos are played with the Kodi player and not with the good native Zidoo player (that Explorer or HT 3.0 use too)

Kodi + XMBC/Kodi Wrapper does the same thing that ZDMC does. But since ZDMC it isn't supported anymore this is the only way to go - and for the wrapper (which you have to buy for 8 bucks) you need a root first.

What do you say about futeko-store ? The 2 year warranty applies only to products purchased from futeko.com website (not Amazon/Ebay).From where is more safely to purchase the Z9X ? Futeko official sire or Ebay or Amazon ?

Futeko has an excellent reputation with their no nonsense policy regarding warranty. Very safe to buy there. No experience with other sources.

Completely agree with @Nice Monkey - Futeko are beyond reproach.

I bought my Z1000 Pro at www.zidoo.de. Fast delivery and very competent contact.

Are they shipped only in Germany? Or international too?

I think only Germany according to the website. Order at Futeko, free tracked worldwide shipping and a little bit cheaper.

Is this box playing internal srt the right way?
Or still strange letters/signs at the end of a line, like the x9s?
