hi, i just connected my new Denon X3600H yesterday and tried to send out some DOLBY ATMOS videos.
I only get the secondary atmos audio track saying that "i have to enable bitstreaming on the blueray player" etc..
So it falls back to the 2ndary track since it cant detect the Atmos part.

    Any experiences?

Simple answer, yes, absolutely it can bitstream Atmos.

Make sure you have "RAW" ticked in Settings/Audio/HDMI Audio

Thx! By setting it to RAW didnt solve it on the Dolby Atmos Demo Blueray.. but by testing the new SW UHD releases DD Atmos was clearly presented as the meta format.
Gotta be something wrong with the DD signalling in the demo

    Hi Thor,
sure also the demo file could be wrong, but for instance my Onkyo TX-NR646 only shows TrueHD if only the front speakers are comnected, it is described in the manual that at least center or/and surround must be connected then it can switch to dolby atmos.
I use it with two floorstanding tower speakers yet.
Though you have probably all speakers on your AV.

hi bob, i get atmos on alot of other titles, so the bitstream setup works as intended. Its probably related to the content itself as u mentioned..
    Currently i only have a 3.1 setup
