sorry to correct you, but the APK from the start of the threat is definively NOT the same as in firmware 1.0.38
e.g. different size ...
how you can tell this to the people here???

So he is correct.

and the thread has also been renamed to say 'ZDMC release(base on kodi16.1.1) fix aspect problem' instead of 'ZDMC release(base on kodi16.1.0)' so everyone can see it fixed the
aspect ratio problem.

You will also notice this is version v16.1.1 and the one inside the 1.0.38 firmware is version 16.1.0

 

Sometimes a thread should be deleted at all to avoid misanderstandings.
This one may be one of these, with a brand new starting.
Comments or requests o bug reports will then arrive faster the light speed !!!

before to every new firmware or app update came a new thread as it sould be
it is not good to change a topic and a file, when in the thread is discussed about the old stuff

Updated apps, fixes, etc should be in a new thread. They can post in the old thread informing people that are watching that thread that the new fix is available in a new thread.

A how to guide would be useful. I downloaded it but my x6 doesn't see it. Do i have to download again the 1.38 version and put it in there?

 

If you download ZDMC from Android, it will go to your Downloads folder.
You can also download it on a PC and copy it to a flash drive and install it from a File Manager app.

Manager? what do you mean?
Maybe you are a newbie ...
A kind of file manager exixst, enough to install a downloaded app, you see it in Zidoo launcher (the page you see after boot) and is called now Media Center, icon is a yellow folder.
If you keep in it the default "filter" (all files) you can browse to download folder and start install ation of any apk.

Mpeg1/2 videos are not working in ZDMC.
The videos just quit as soon as you play them.

 

Is it perhaps possible to add extra menus and let users choose a different aspect ratio for different aspect ratio videos?
Then there can be 5-10 different aspect ratios and 5-10 different settings to choose from instead of only having a menu for 4:3 setting?
eg. 21:9 aspect ratio for wide Ultra-wide 4K tv's, 10:7 for iptv streams, 2.388:1 for internet movies in widescreen format like the 4:3 setting already in ZDMC then users can choose how they want to display those videos, stretched, zoomed, fullscreen or with black bars with the original aspect ratio?
