Hi everyone, I ask you for help with a problem that occurs with my Zidoo X20 as soon as I connect it in dual hdmi to the Panasonic FZ950 and Denon Avr 4400. Basically I have connected HDMI video to HDMI TV and HDMI audio to the input Denon media player. Everything is working properly. The problem is that when I switch X20 by remote control and switch to TV connected with HDMI arc to the receiver, the speakers do not emit any sound and in the TV menu it is not even possible to choose the HT connection, as if the amp didn't exist. If I turn off the X20 back button or leave it on, everything works properly. I tried to change the various TV ports, tried other HDMI cables, tried all the possible settings for the TV, the left and the X20 but nothing to do. Needless to say that before connecting X20 everything worked. And even doing the test by connecting a Himedia Q10 with only one HDMI first only to the TV and then only to the Denon everything is ok. Someone can tell me why this casino or above all if there is a solution?

Yes I did. The problem remains. I tried a little and it seems that some Zidoo have a problem with CEC / ARC.

I can use it the same way. Instead of leaving it on standby, I turn it off from the back button. It does not depend on the Panasonic FZ950 TV. It is a problem of some zidoo

  6. It works fine for me. The LG Tv is switched to HDMI video from Zidoo. The Onkyo receiver is switched to HDMI audio from Zidoo. I suppose that you trie to get audio from arc from the HDMI Tv.

Yes,Hdmi main from Denon 4400 go to hdmi Arc of TV.Video main of Zidoo goes to the second hdmi of Tv and audio out from Zidoo to hdmi named Media Player on 4400.

  8. May be it's some CEC malfunction. Try with CEC off on all the devices. You will not have ARC channel this way but you can see why there is no sound. I suppose that you have correct HDMI output on zidoo - Main Vice-Port Separation Mode.

The Cec on TV and Denon works, because when I connect a bd or vcr player everything works. On the zidoo I activated the first menu item to separate the audio video ports.
I solved it by buying a remote-controlled electrical outlet. I turn on and off the zidoo from that and everything is ok

I tried now to connect first in hdmi of Tv and next in hdmi of Denon a Q10 and
    in both cases it worked.

this is about a known problem i think.
i had a similar problem with similar hardware setup.
samsung tv-arc-denon avr. zidoo audio is connected directly to avr and zidoo video directly to tv.
arc/audio was not working. i fixed it by connecting an cec blocker to zidoo.
so it looks like you need something like this:
    https://www.ebay.de/itm/141731156642
in this case you just cut off zidoo from your cec chain.

I have already tried it by inserting it both on the video output of the zidoo then on the audio output that goes to the Denon, but it does not work in any case.
