Sometimes when I play a movie with DTS 5.1 audio, the speakers make a noise at the beginning. It´s like a 'click'.

This is my configuration with HDMI 1.4 cable for audio output, the AV is a Yamaha RX-V775:
    Quick Settings\Display\HDMI Output\Main Vice-Port Separation Mode
Quick Settings\Audio set "HDMI Audio" to <RAW>

I have never experienced something like that with LaCie or Dune mediacenter.

    Hi

is it every MKV file ?

have you tried different file sizes of the same film ?

Going back a couple of years i had an Onkyo TX NR838 that made a noise out of the right rear speaker i had that set up as 5.1 that's when i decided to go back to Denon amp
now i have a Denon AVR-X6300H set up as 7.1.2 Atmos as i have just finished my cinema room that i have been wanting to do for some time.

I have had quit a few media players over the past 11 years and to be fair i have found they all have a bug or too but they all did get sorted with firmware updates, i do really like the x20 but there is a couple of things on it that i find could be improved on, hopefully that will come in a firmware update

It is a ramdom bug, but I have never suffer this noise with other boxes.

Have you hooked the player up to another amplifier to test the clicking ?

have you downgraded the firmware to see if its not a firmware issue ?

I don´t have another amplifier, but using different boxes (like Dune HD Smart D1) I have never heard any 'click'.

New firmware and the noise is still there.
