Started an fw update from 2.1.22 to this new 2.1.30 via usb stick. It was verefied correcly and copied correctly so update button was pressed. Now it has been stucked on this image for one hour..... that can't be correct. Earlier fw update to 2.1.22 was no problem in some minutes... What to do ?
This happened to me, just switched power off at the back of the unit. Turn power back on and the installation will carry on
thanks.... it worked for me as well.... scary to turn device off when upgrading fw since it definitly can destroy unit.... once again... thanks
Hi Mirror, Still getting random green screen and restart with this forum, I have narrowed it down and it is Movies with 7.1 aac files that are the problem, see info: General Unique ID : 243567128571908425829864860686635827138 (0xB73D52986FE542AE7F8E32A08194FFC2) Complete name : E:\Video\Solo A Star Wars Story (2018).mkv Format : Matroska Format version : Version 4 File size : 11.4 GiB Duration : 2 h 14 min Overall bit rate : 12.1 Mb/s Movie name : Solo A Star Wars Story Encoded date : UTC 2018-09-14 19:30:49 Writing application : mkvmerge v20.0.0 ('I Am The Sun') 64-bit Writing library : libebml v1.3.5 + libmatroska v1.4.8 Writing frontend : StaxRip v1.7.0.6 Video ID : 1 Format : HEVC Format/Info : High Efficiency Video Coding Format profile : Main@L4.1@Main Codec ID : V_MPEGH/ISO/HEVC Duration : 2 h 14 min Bit rate : 10.9 Mb/s Width : 1 920 pixels Height : 1 080 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16:9 Frame rate mode : Constant Frame rate : 23.976 (24000/1001) FPS Color space : YUV Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0 Bit depth : 8 bits Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.218 Stream size : 10.2 GiB (89%) Default : Yes Forced : No SEI_rbsp_stop_one_bit : Missing Audio ID : 2 Format : AAC LC Format/Info : Advanced Audio Codec Low Complexity Codec ID : A_AAC-2 Duration : 2 h 14 min Bit rate : 1 259 kb/s Channel(s) : 7 channels Channel(s)_Original : 8 channels Channel layout : C L R Ls Rs Lb Rb LFE Sampling rate : 48.0 kHz Frame rate : 46.875 FPS (1024 SPF) Compression mode : Lossy Delay relative to video : 9 ms Stream size : 1.18 GiB (10%) Language : English Default : No Forced : No Text #1 ID : 3 Format : PGS Muxing mode : zlib Codec ID : S_HDMV/PGS Codec ID/Info : Picture based subtitle format used on BDs/HD-DVDs Duration : 2 h 5 min Bit rate : 42.3 kb/s Count of elements : 4496 Stream size : 37.9 MiB (0%) Language : English Default : No Forced : No Text #2 ID : 4 Format : PGS Muxing mode : zlib Codec ID : S_HDMV/PGS Codec ID/Info : Picture based subtitle format used on BDs/HD-DVDs Duration : 1 h 20 min Bit rate : 400 b/s Count of elements : 36 Stream size : 236 KiB (0%) Language : English Default : No Forced : No Menu 00:00:00.000 : en:Chapter 01 00:00:53.511 : en:Chapter 02 00:02:10.213 : en:Chapter 03 00:03:53.149 : en:Chapter 04 00:06:00.485 : en:Chapter 05 00:09:27.567 : en:Chapter 06 00:13:16.045 : en:Chapter 07 00:14:14.019 : en:Chapter 08 00:16:12.262 : en:Chapter 09 00:19:45.100 : en:Chapter 10 00:22:43.820 : en:Chapter 11 00:24:37.267 : en:Chapter 12 00:27:00.035 : en:Chapter 13 00:30:02.926 : en:Chapter 14 00:32:54.681 : en:Chapter 15 00:39:09.764 : en:Chapter 16 00:41:59.225 : en:Chapter 17 00:43:20.180 : en:Chapter 18 00:44:32.127 : en:Chapter 19 00:48:03.755 : en:Chapter 20 00:51:58.323 : en:Chapter 21 00:53:17.527 : en:Chapter 22 00:57:23.523 : en:Chapter 23 01:00:16.779 : en:Chapter 24 01:02:40.882 : en:Chapter 25 01:04:51.262 : en:Chapter 26 01:05:29.508 : en:Chapter 27 01:07:12.028 : en:Chapter 28 01:08:05.915 : en:Chapter 29 01:10:00.112 : en:Chapter 30 01:12:44.193 : en:Chapter 31 01:14:40.851 : en:Chapter 32 01:18:30.872 : en:Chapter 33 01:23:15.740 : en:Chapter 34 01:26:32.645 : en:Chapter 35 01:30:33.136 : en:Chapter 36 01:35:19.672 : en:Chapter 37 01:37:04.860 : en:Chapter 38 01:38:52.801 : en:Chapter 39 01:41:18.530 : en:Chapter 40 01:43:02.676 : en:Chapter 41 01:45:27.821 : en:Chapter 42 01:46:32.177 : en:Chapter 43 01:49:45.996 : en:Chapter 44 01:53:33.890 : en:Chapter 45 01:57:13.901 : en:Chapter 46 01:58:55.128 : en:Chapter 47 02:01:34.829 : en:Chapter 48 02:03:20.893 : en:Chapter 49 02:06:09.353 : en:Chapter 50
Yes, I have also done factory reset, please read and stop trying to confuse things... This only affects files with 7.1 aac, files with 5.1 aac are fine. This has happened on the last 3 beta firmwares. 1.8.1 is fine with these files
Thanks for the work narrowing the problem down. I will do what I can to make sure Zidoo absorb the information.
What we really need soon is a fix for seamless branching ASAP. Just tried to watch Isle of Dogs, which is made up of 75 M2TS files, and its unwatchable on the z9S!
Yes, working correctly only on Egreat and also Dinibot Android media players (guess Himedia too as it shares the same basis).
Hi all, I am considering to buy one of these, a question first for hdmi in rec: what is the max resolution it can record?
Hi, don't think it is a matter of max resolution as I believe it will try to record raw data, it may be a question of max mbs though and the answer to that i'm not sure.
Thanks for the answer, I found it can record at 1080p/30, actually I use for this an avermedia that can arrive up to 1080p/60, but I don't know the difference in viewing, my tv displays 1080/24.. By the way I'm looking for a new player, my player actually doesn't handle h265, and I only for now use local films on harg gisk, no nas and no blu ray
