ZIDOO Home Theater and auto download subtitles in native player release

    Hi:
    we release the ZIDOO Theater and auto download subtitles in native player on X6, and it can manage your videos on local storage and smb. we will releae it on the V1.0.30, and now Let's look at its features.
    First, find the zidoo theater:

    Enter the app, and will see no movies add, you should add first:

    Goto Device, scan the files, you can select the local device and smb device.

    sorry but i cannot understand, why you put in so much effort in a special software
    most of the people - like i bymyself - are looking for a system with android (for all the apps) and a functioning KODI
    you develop a parallel system to kodi, instead bring us a perfect running kodi
    how others see this?

    we will also improve the kodi, such as in v1.0.30 fix the kodi black screen proble, we working for kodi16.0.
    But most people need more than just kodi, they maybe need airlay, maybe need mediacenter...

    but do us a big favour - please activate back-up-add-on in kodi so we cann export and import all the settings - thx

    what is netdisc?
    i will try only the videodb.xml from kodi without all the JPGs
    it is packed only 2 MB
    on the way :)

    Auto frame rate doesn't work for me in kodi (in most mkv files). Auto frame rate is a feature very important for me (essential). Could you add auto frame rate in general settings of zidoo x6 (just like others andorid box), so this feature might work both kodi and zidoo theater.

    This theatre business all looks very exciting. Let's just hope it works as smoothly as Kodi. If zidoo get this right, there will be no need to use Kodi for basic in-house video playing (I don't stream from the internet, just by own network storage). Fingers crossed!

    grummel2005, you can use Wetransfer to send files, even very big, it's free (in basic version) and easy, for both senders and receivers.

    I tried Zidoo_theater in my X9 and it is running smooth. Since I store my XBMC library on my nas nearly all file appear. Airmouse doesn't work just use zidoo remote. Menu language in english... nice work.

    most of the buyers bought the device even for KODI - and so it is a MUST to have it run

    Interesting, but I see only movie files, not my TV series ones.
    I (personally) prefer to browse files directly, or with different listing format. But is only my taste...

    For the sake of discussion, about Kodi (XBMC), even if Zidoo solve all the X6 relelated problems, for me remain a "native" Kodi malfunction, i.e. missing uPnP remote directory refresh unless restarting Kodi itself.
    Is a known issue that nobody has solved until now...
    But it's O.T. ;)
