I too have the problem that I sometimes get a 3D signal instead of the normal 2D series I was watching. It just switches to 3D. I first thought is was due to a update from my Samsung UE55HU7500.

I also experience the sometimes black screen for a few seconds. And also the 4k mode that just switches back to normal HD.

I do appreciate the effort the Zidoo team takes in solving problems. I hope I can have a media streamer that just plays my series in the end.

    Keep up the good work.

I have just purchased the x6, special to playback 4K content
But what I see in the settings, there is no way to choose for the 4K resolution!
It is stuck to 1080/60p there is no option for UHD/4K 3840x2160!!!!!???
For me this mediaplayer is now worthless...

image.jpg Why did zidoo taken away these options from the settings?
These options were there in the old firmware v1.0.15
    See picture

X6 is supported by 4K, and there are two cases
1, please check the TV set, whether there is a hdmi2.0 switch, if there is, please open
2, perhaps your TV does not support

I have the Sony KD-75X9405C ,this TV support on al (4) the HDMI Input 4K. (HDMI 2.0a)
I also have the Sony FMP-X5 mediaplayer, with this player i can playback 4K on my Sony TV,i have also tryed to hook the Zidoo on this HDMI input....also with out luck.
yes i can in the menu of my tv the hdmi input change to a higher resolution, and i did but this also not work.

(This kd-75x9405c is the same TV as in the USA: xbr-75x940c)

Yes it does now support al the in/out puts of 4K/UHD resolutions :)
And i know now what it course,it is the lengt of the HDMI cable i use! (I think) because i use now a shorter HDMI (1meter) cable....fromt te Zidoo to my TV.
For my other 4K player it seems that this lengt is ok,but the Zidoo don't work with it.

Your cable is to long. There is a significant lost of signal. Use an hdmi signal booster or use rj45 configuration.

Are you sure the longer 10ft cable is an HDMI 2 one? Its a digital signal so I don't think there should be any loss on it. It could also be that your cable is HDMI 2.0a but Zidoo only supports 2.0?

    Not 10ft but 10m (33ft).

No such thing as a HDMI 2 cable, its either HDMI or HDMI high speed. For 4k make sure the lead is High Speed 10M meters is a long cable though a booster maybe required. I think 10M is the maximum length allowed in the HDMI spec
