Part TWO: The reference of local OTA upgrade process:

    ZIDOO_X9(http://blog.zidoo.tv/2015/02/how-to-upgrade-the-zidoo-x9-firmware/

Part THREE: Online update, to download the latest firmware version, which is similar to the local OTA upgrade.

    Notices:

    1. Do not disconnect USB cable during flashing (It will take about 1min and 20s to flash); if over 2min, you can choose to flash again.

    2. It will be slower to turn on for the first time after flashing, please wait with your patience; if can not enter system, you can choose to flash again to recover.

Can some of the moderators can point why a Firmware version V1.0.19 is available on this tutorial and is not available for public Release ?

    Hello,
I've updated firmware with "local OTA upgrade process (Part two)", much easier then the process you described here, to 1.0.23 without no issue.
But when some updated FW (1.0.22 or .23) will be delivered via OTA ?

    Thanks

I have tried in various ways. Start FactoryTool , load the ROM and start the procedure . insert the cable into the USB port of my computer , I hold down the reset button until I insert the cable into the USB otg port X6 pro . Or , insert the PC cable , insert the cable nell'x6 pro usb otg and I press the reset button.

    1. Unplug Zidoo Power Supply Unit (PSU) and put it somewhere. Do not use it.
    2. Install drivers from DriverAssitant v4.3 on your PC
    3. Launch FactoryTool v1.39 and load the firmware image file.
    4. Take USB 2.0 Male to Male cable and plug it in PC USB port.
    5. Using pinpoint push and hold "Reset" button in Zidoo box.
While holding the button plug another end of the USB cable to USB/OTG port of the box.
You will see "Loader" name appeared in "Device Type" column of the FactoryTool.
    6. After this just click on "Start" button and wait for the firmware flash to complete.

Hmmm, there might be false positive virus alert of DriverAssitant_v4.3.zip -file? Two antiviruses alerted, Bkav and Ikarus (never heard of these earlier)? Please see the latest VirusTotal scan report.
