what is the difference between OTA and IMG files?

OTA is to be flashed like other updates (put on USB pendrive or directly in internal memory, then flashed using usual Zidoo menus), IMG is to be flashed with "emergency" procedure (you can find it somewhere in Zidoo forums). NOTE: The latter will erase all, configurations, app installed, is like to have the device as first power on, after purchase.

Dear @PacoRabanne so... IMG is like to have the v1.2.3_img that all manuals says you have to use for flash zidoo? ... now we can flash with ZIDOO_X9S_v1.4.12_img?

It should be a good news because it means that the X9s that people buy from now they will have the 1.4.12 firmware version from factory?

I have also modified english translation for Blu-ray menu yesterday. In addition, I have modified Quick settings and ZUICAST for english and spanish languages.

HLS convert from dts sound not working on 1.4.12 When you open a torrent file, it writes "no video information" and there is no sound. In torrents with dolby sound, everything is fine.

No, you can't. Wait until the X8 version is released. Never cross-flash a firmware for a different model (X9S or X10).

2. I hope Zidoo will do some more refining, at least on still untranslated or mistranslated menus items, before flashing any new release on sell devices.

Indeed, there are some errors in Italian menus, I was waiting for a stable "prerelease" before asking how to help in current FW italian translations. Is this the right moment? Could you [Zidoo] give me instruction on how to?
