I f I set TV resolution to auto on the Zidoo, all 2160p 24hz play in 1080p 24hz, I have to set TV to 2160 for 4K 24hz playback, does Auto not work?
What are your player settings? What doesn't, work, the audio, video or it does not play even for 1 second?
- No work, no play .MKV movie on MEDIA CENTER, with ZDMC play, but jump/cut audio and sound. - Zidoo X9S 1.2.6 - Clean install firmware with RESET (Backup & Reset) Setting menu.
I will try it on mine later, although not all tv's will display '3096 x 2160'. What resolution do you have the Zidoo output set as?

Tried to play it on my Zidoo today and it gives the message this file is not supported. Like I said that file is a strange resolution.
Wifi some times droping. And when I copy 40G iso from a harddisk To other one , the box was died .when play some hd movie sometimes frame skip.
Bluray iso menu in ZDMCKODI doesn't work. I select a different audio option, but the movie always starts with the default audio. Am i doing something wrong?
this firmware is absolutely disappointing..... watching movies my TV blacks out every 20-30 second if i am using any resolution higher than 1080p.... no matter it is zdmc or native player..... the box is unusable at all at any resolution above 1080p....
You can also solve it by setting the box to 2160@60hz, leaving 24hz output set to on, but switch color space from auto to 4:2:2.
thanks I have problem playing the following file: http://hdrsamples.com/exodus-4k-uhd-hdr-sample-footage/ If hdr is on i have a skewed image at any resolution higher than 1080p, no matter of the settings used. The HDR is detected by the tv, but i am getting proper picture just at 1080p. My tv is lg 55eg920v. Any experience/advice?
From : http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/55eg920v-201511164212.htm Not all HDR demos played well on the 55EG920V though, probably due to differing standards. For example, the Life of Pi and Exodus snippets (which worked a treat on high-end Samsung SUHD TVs) appeared washed out with elevated black level on the LG, suggesting that the EG920 wasn’t applying the correct PQ (perceptual quantiser) EOTF formula.
