There is a WIN10 computer and a Zidoo Z9X, can I connect these two devices via LAN without Router and wifi. I was told that you can use a Cross Lan cable for the connection. The problem is in the configuration, I run a samba server on Zidoo, the display shows the ip address. Please tell me in the settings of the computer's network adapter what you need to enter to connect these devices?
why not just grab a cheap giga router on aliexpress ie https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...earchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ or amazon ,whichevers easiest ive been using an 8 port one for a yr or so with no issues theres a thread on all the win 10 smba settings , otherwise i just google whenever i forget
A cross LAN cable is not necessary, LAN connections have supported auto negation for many years. Usually a normal LAN cable should be enough. On the PC, set an address where in the last block (the number is in the range from 1 - 254 but not the same as on the Zidoo. E.g. Zidoo xxx.xxx.xxx.056, on the PC xxx.xxx.xxx.100 Subnet Masc sets the PC automatically when you jump between settings with tabs. Leave DNS blank as there is no Internet and Lan. I haven't checked whether that works.
