Didn't try any yet, I've converted all to MKV, I'll rip one to iso to try, how to use "lite menu"?

When you select an ISO or BDMV folder you can chose "Play Video" which will attempt to select the main movie from the playlist (doesn't always get it right depending on how the BluRay is authored).

You could play DV from BD ISO in the last beta - but not via main menu. Play movie direct.

Hi, could you check for DV mp4 „sound out of sync” issue? Is it fixed?

Still doesn't recognize 2019 TCL 5 series TV as being HDR10 and DV capable. Worked just fine in FW 6.1.15 I believe. Still have to use Sony 800H custom EDID to get HDR10 and DV working.

Hmm, are you sure? I have tested myself just now and in all mp4 DV in my library and the sound is out of sync after pause or rewinding. Nothing changed with this firmware IMHO.

    Again, my mystake,
I went back and forth the movie and got out of sync minimally. You are right.

have you tried running the mp4s thru MKVToolNix , and converting them to mkv container ,which is what is supported

Thanks @mirror . Haven't tried yet, still downloading but it's slow. Maybe you can use the cloudflare (sp) host like the last time. Cheers.

EDIT: Suddenly it became very fast, way faster than google drive. Clearly more bandwidth freed from the server.

How is everyone updating to this new firmware .. is it through the GUI and selecting the USB drive or it is using the Reset button?

Yes, use the GUI in settings, this will retain all your configurations.

Have the blacklevel issues been solved in this - or earlier - firmware?
Sorry for asking, haven't been able to keep track for a while.

Ah! a plus for the DUNE with their latest firmware:

    - This version adds various Dolby Vision related improvements.

    - New feature: Dolby Vision decoding and output is now supported also when
playing separate M2TS P7 (MEL and FEL) files. NOTE: Dolby Vision extended
information from the second video track is used and output to TV, i.e. it
is a real playback of Dolby Vision video (as previously already supported
for BDMV folders and BD ISO files).

    - New feature: You can now force Dolby Vision output (in both LLDV and STD
DV modes) even if the media player believes that the connected TV does
not support Dolby Vision. To do so, just set "Setup / Video / HDR and
Dolby Vision settings / Dolby Vision output mode" to "LLDV" or "STD DV"
(instead of "Auto"). This feature can also be potentially used instead of
EDID-editing function in "HDFury" devices for output of LLDV Dolby Vision
to projectors, i.e. it can allow you avoid to need to buy the "HDFury"
    device.
A little more work for the great ZIDOO team!

    @vddan
    - Dune playing M2TS streams now is nice but used by very few people. Maybe Zidoo will add it too? Does not look too complicated to me.
    - I am still curious about Dune really processing EL Can the HDR guru's conform this?
Regarding final PQ the difference is minimal as I see hardly a difference with my OPPO.
    - I think the Zidoo EDID edit function is definitely better then the generic Dune equivalent as it is far more flexible.

It is above all a bug-fix update. I will only comment one thing on that 'keep those coming please".
Far more important now than a rat-race on features.

Actually waiting for a general FW release for all models next to test Audio using MP6 with my UHD3000.

I have both and I can tell you that the Zidoo is far more flexible as far as DV playback goes than the Dune.
