So just to understand, shall I use TW Quick Support or Host?
    Thanks guys,

use Host. you don't need quick support if host is working. ( quick support is just a big trimed version of Host )

I see that when X9S if turned off (standby) the TW Host doesn't work. Is there any command to set it as a daemon to run at startup to have it always on?

not sure if standby suppose to work like this or is not implemented properly . i see no difference from standby and turnoff. even openwrt closes in standby

Well I think this should be investigated. I feel the same: standby and turnoff are almost the same.
It should be possible to run a daemon able to keep certain processes (Openwrt, TW,...) alive.

I think that, if stand-by is a real stand-by, is not like android "deep idle", where processor is running very slow, but consumes a very little power.
But in that condition I don't think an app that needs enough CPU cycles can run succesfully. But power consumption is not a problem in a TV Box, so...

Indeed, neither the most powerful Windows PC runs anything when in stand-by mode...
So, best is to not asking something impossible.

    Am I wrong?

    Never tested.
    Interesting.

Hope Zidoo will explain better this behaviour for both devices.

I installed the teamviewer host downloaded from Google Play. I started the host, inserted the given address into my browser's address field on my Macbook and could connect to Zidoo. Everything worked fine!
