That's odd - local trailers play perfectly here - have you tried playing the trailer manually - ie, navigate to it with Media Center and play from there?

Can you post a link to a trailer that exhibits this problem.

I have HT 3.0.45 and don't have trailer issues. Both online and local trailers play to the end. Make sure you have Nuplayer selected for streaming services.

Yes, if I run from a folder - it plays normally.
Local trailer, online does not start
    How to set it ??

Can you give an example of a local trailer I can download and test?

Quick Settings/Playback/Stream Player - make sure NuPlayer is ticked.

:) well - I think I forgot to add that I have Zidoo X20. I don't seem to have this option.

Ok - just downloaded that and although I don't have that movie on the Zidoo, I just attached it to one I do.

Just put it in my "1917" folder and renamed to 1917.trailer.mp4 and it plays perfectly in both preview and main window.

Maybe it's an X20 issue?? Can anyone with an X20 help out?

It seems to me that it has something to do with Video / Audio coding.
I tested a few trailers - mp4 files with AC3 sound work normally.
I think there is a problem with AAC sound files.
At 48kHZ it works and at 44.1 it does not work.
In addition, if I convert AAC 44.1khz audio in XRecode to the same format, the trailers also start.

I'm talking about local trailers all the time

The odd thing is that this trailer will play audio only on both my PC and the Z9S - Windows Media Player refuses to open it at all and MPC-HC will only play audio, same as the Zidoo.

If I try to open with Media Center on the Zidoo, it also refuses to play.

Have you tried this website for trailers:

    https://www.traileraddict.com/

If you use Chrome, you can use the "Save Video As" extension.

I forgot to write - on my Zidoo in Media Center all files work correctly.
I tried to change the name of the downloaded trailer to match the movie (instead of the movie) and plays well in HT.
These trailers do not play as trailers :)

Trailers in .mov format with AAC 44.1 kHZ sound work

nice page but i have Firefox and i don't know how to download.

By the way - how to edit the list of film genres.
I came across this by accident when I checked HT 3.0.45 but I forgot where.

This is how it works. AAC 48 kHZ sound

Trailers in HT use Nuplayer software. It's limited in audio and video formats. Most likely that's why some of the online trailers don't play. I also ended up recoding audio for some of the trailers. Youtube Downloader allows you to get audio format you like or it will recode it on the fly.

I'm trying to get @mirror to make this little tweak in HT and add trailer to list of movie formats on the movie page where icons A, B and C are. It would allow to play high quality downloaded trailers using Zidoo hardware player, full screen with proper frame rate, resolution and no stutter.

    A few more attempts.
File 1. - downloaded manually from Youtube - plays in HT
File 2. - downloaded by Tiny Media Manger from Youtube - does not play in HT as a trailer
In that case, it may not be the Audio AAC problem but the connection:
AAC 44.1 kHz sound and iso6 format

    OK thank you :)
I think I have too many film genres and I haven't reached the end :)

    Any progress at work?
I care about importing from NFO. I used ZDMC before and I have a whole collection in focus. Own descriptions, film genres etc.
The more that all the films I can not pick up TMDB in my language (Polish). And editing all movies (about 5000) once again is beyond my strength and time :)

Hi, I hope I'm right here. can someone tell me what the files have to be called exactly, that you can see all media flags in the poster wall? for example: 1917.4k.hdr.truehd-Atmos.mkv. i know non-compliance that's true. I would also like to know the exact spelling for 10bit or the different sound formats. I hope someone can help me. Thanks to you
