Lets not play with semantics! When someone says "just wait one week, I will be release a beta version for this issue." it may not contain the actual word 'promise' but it is a clear intention!

If it's delayed so be it. However great claims were made for this beta - to fix something that has plagued this box since it's release. Excuse me if I I come across as a little impatient;)

hi, to all zidoo programmers and beta testers,

please search for and eliminate the spdif / toslink problem.
repeated tone dropouts in the transmission.

see my posting 51, thought the problem would be solved, but unfortunately it is not.

this spdif error is really annoying ......

It seems like the newer player Z9S has more issues than older X9S ;) I hope this is not the pattern for new Z9X.

Going back to BD Menu player compared to direct Zidoo player. Both players share the same core deep at the root. The the micro stutter was fixed on X9S back in Jan of 2019. It effected both payer versions at the same time. However over the time we received improvements in direct Zidoo player interface like the decoder (codec) info but nothing has changed in BD menu player. It almost looks like the interface for BD menu is holding Zidoo player back. Fast forward and reverse scrolling is jumpy and irregular like the key is going through some menu interface trying to decide what to do with it. Maybe it also gets stuck trying to analyze playlists all the time deciding what is the next video stream file.

If seamless branching is really solved with the next FW then stability gets on the Top of my wish-list. It is getting better but still not reaching X9S I have that same feeling too.

Plus a small warning: "Soon" in Chinese is an intention not a time indication. :D
But it will come finally that is pretty sure. ;)

Will be a real pleasure testing this baby! :D
Installed just fine. Still needs re-running GAPP's obviously when using it.

First quick seamless branching tests looking good.
Could test my reference (Avatar) only without BD menu but the previous most notorious trouble point passed.
Avatar BD Menu works for everything minus the most crucial thing actually starting Play.
Pressing Play just starts over the Menu Animation again.

  15. I apologize for the intrusion and for my English.

By now I am lost among the various firmware edition

Ok, the official one (always if I'm not mistaken) is 2.3.30
Then around there are the 2.3.2, the 3.3.5, the one considered because it had problems, that is the 2.3.7.

Even in the various titles of the discussions, there are the various versions, now, in your opinion, what a stable version is to be installed ........

Now I'm with 2.3.5, a few small bugs but overall usable ...........

What do I do, reset the Z9s and then mount 2.3.0, or do I leave the one there ??????

Please excuse me, but I really can't believe which version has the best quality / stability ratio.

Thanks in advance and good day, Andrea.

The hopefully next stripped down version of a 1619 RTD chipset for the new Version of the Z9s ?

or will it be the 1395 chipset ......

These are all BETA's with no easy way going back. If you are reasonably happy with the FW installed then just wait till the next official Released FW will be published via OTA.
