Hi, I am new the Zidoo, have owned Zappiti for a few years so having some teething issues. The main one right now is frame stuttering - especially playing 4K movies. There doesn’t seem to be an option to switch to 4K output in the settings, am I missing something or is this the norm for Zidoo? Auto frame and resolution does not fix the issue either so hope someone knows how to fix this! Many thanks
Still a Common problem while watching 4K material ... I come from the old reliable Dune and I was also surprised ... despite few updates the playing stability is still an unsolved issue .. you will likely experience also some loss of synchronization between audio and video after stuttering or stops during playing
I have also found that the player doesn’t communicate with my LG TV - as in the TV doesn’t seem to know when UHD media is playing, the TV has picture optimisation of UHD which I cannot access because it doesn’t recognise the source! Very frustrating
