Romanian(rum) embedded subtitles/audio on mkv container are marked as Russian for more then a year ago test with firmware 1.7.8 to 2.3.10.
Won't be able to test as my player is in another country. Will do so when back home, this may take a few months.
Wondering why not many feedback for this one ? Is it people are satisfied or no one bother to install. I myself not yet download because I already recently installed the previous beta, do not want to update to this just yet.
Good question - Personally, I'm satisfied - the box works well for me since I only use it for UHD BluRay MKV rips (and encodes) and absolutely nothing else. I've stayed at v2.2.96 as none of the subsequent updates have added anything I either need or want and unless they do something drastic to HT2, that's where I'll stick. HT2 could be improved greatly with the inclusion of user categories and I'd love to see trailers added, but Zidoo have confirmed that neither can be included so I just use the box within its constraints and use Dune and Nvidia to pick up the slack.
I will wait for anything new to show up as OTA download on device itself else stay on ver 2.2.96. I use the device only for video playback from USB attached HDD. Nothing else. I have alternate setup for other media consumption. In my case, that reduces many issues faced by other users. So don't feel the need to update firmware every now and then.
Discovered a bug in Home Theatre 2.0 since upgraded to this version 2.3.10. If you have 2 versions of the same movie e.g. a BD version and a mkv version, Home Theatre would allow you to select which version to play and it used to work when I was using v 2.2.96. Since upgrade, Home Theatre is playing the wrong version e.g. if you select mkv version BD version will play and if you select BD version , it will play mkv version. Please fix this.

I've just tested the new firmware and for me the music player does the same and when you go to artist there is nothing in it. I just played a 4k movie with DTS and the sound drops severel times off for a second and then back on.
