First of all, thank you for continuously improving the X9 with updates. It’s already a fantastic DAC/amp, but I wanted to share a few ideas for future firmware updates that I think many users would enjoy.

Wishlist:

Expanded visualizers: Add more spectrum/VU analyzer modes (waterfall, oscilloscope, retro-analog) with customizable colors.

I noticed x9 has same internal led's as x8 so i assume there should/will be a visual upgrade as x8 recived.

For curious people go to

and press six times name of your model

Model: Luxsin-X9 <- (thats what you should click)

internal LED's will light up, you can see them throu IR sensor and from sides of the unit, to turn LED's off, repeat above steps.

When using the following EQ-settings for the Audeze MM-500 it sounds terrible on the Luxsin X9, as if there was no Preamp setting, bass is terrible rumbling.

Preamp: -6.10 dB

Is it possible to add another little thing into general/audio menu in future updates ?

Grouping outputs with inputs, for example

out: Headphone <-> in: usb-c
out: XLR <-> in: optical

or input associated with output(s)

in: optical <-> out: headphone or/and [headphone/xlr] (multiple outputs)
in: usb <-> out: headphone

if i switch output/input luxsin automatically will select input/output assigned to that output/input.

As i'm using multiple inputs with different eq/settings on different...

Hi,
I’m having an issue again with my Luxsin X9 and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

For some reason, the DSP features no longer seem to apply to the audio output:

Effects
Crossfeed
HP-EQ

The buttons/UI still appear to work normally. I can enable or disable the options, and they look active on the screen, but there is absolutely no audible change in the sound.

I already had this exact problem once before, and at that time updating the...

@Luxsin I have noticed that certain times of the day, I am unable to access your website to download firmware for the X9. I also cannot access the X9's web interface.

Error: problem loading page.
I have noticed that this would occur around 4PM East Coast Time in the US throughout the night.

Is there something you all are turning off at your end and turning back on the next day?
