Problem i have is after about an hour the tv goes into standby mode when am watching movies or tv shows.
i don't think its the tv or amp as it doesn't do it when i use my shield or when watching youtube.
I've had a look at the settings on the Zidoo and cant see any power saving options selected. HAs anyone come across this before.

I have a new Zidoo Z30 Pro running the latest firmware (v1.3.05, Android 11).

I have two issues:

1. I cannot install any APK (official Plex APK, Kodi 20.5, Kodi 21.3). Whether I install from USB or Chrome, I always get "App not installed".
2. The built-in Networks → Plex client lets me sign into my Plex account and detects my friend's shared Plex server, but when I open it I get "The Plex server is not available. Please log in to another account."...

I have a Zidoo Z30 Pro running firmware v1.3.05 with Home Theater 5.0.76.

Dynamic backgrounds used to work correctly on many movies, but now they no longer work on any movie.

Trailers still play normally after a few seconds, but the background always remains static.

I have already tried:

• Clearing the image cache.
• Resetting Home Theater.
• Removing and adding my movie sources again.
• Testing both SMB and NFS.
• Rebooting the player.

The Issue:
The dedicated CD app does not support Gapless Playback for Audio CDs. When playing conceptual albums or live recordings where tracks merge seamlessly (e.g., Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield), there is an annoying 1-second silence/gap between tracks.

I put a 26TB Seagate Exos enterprise HDD in the drive bay and am thinking of ways to deal with the head seek noise. The disk spinning noise isn't a problem, just a very quiet, low thrumming noise that is easy enough to ignore. The problem is the head seeking noises during playback which are best described as thudding, chugging sounds.

This was always going to be a problem with a big 3.5" magnetic drive. They are noisy. Much more noisy than 2.5"...

Previously, if you went to the web console, opened “Modify Data” for a title, and clicked on the Genre field, you could either check or uncheck existing genres or manually type in a brand-new genre, which would then be added to the list...
